Role Description

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) under the Commercial & Business Development Department (CBDD) is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The QS will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents for infrastructure and underground construction projects. Daily activities include monitoring project costs, supporting cost planning and forecasting, and preparing periodic cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The role involves evaluating contractor and supplier quotations, assisting in contract administration, and supporting claims, variations, and commercial negotiations. The QS will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and the CBDD team to ensure accurate commercial data, maintain cost control, and contribute to business development proposals and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• A graduate of any Engineering Discipline (preferably Civil Engineering or Mechanical)

• Must have a minimum of Five (5) Years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, tender, estimation, claims, and contract administration gained from reputable construction companies locally or overseas.

• A dynamic Professional with adequate exposure related to direct construction. and Civil Experience in Civil, Structural, Technical Affairs, Planning & Control, Reporting, and trade coordination from the project conception, design phase, budgetary and detailed estimating up to actual Infra Structure development.

• With exposure in planning, executing civil construction of high value projects involving planning and resource administration, with a flair for adopting modern methodologies in compliance with the quality standards.

• With strong relationship management, communication skills with the ability to network with project members, external agencies/sub‐contractors.

• Must have a Valid Qatar Driving License, a Transferable Visa /NOC.
