Quantity Surveyor

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

• Review tender documents and prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs.

• Analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs throughout execution.

• Manage contract administration, including correspondence and contractual compliance.

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and extension of time requests.

• Prepare monthly valuations, progress claims, and payment certificates.

• Verify subcontractor invoices and recommend payments.

• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

• Monitor project profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Finance teams.

• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations.

• Attend client meetings and site visits when required.
