Job description
Education - Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
Experience - 3+ years experience with building contracting companies preferable in GCC countries.
Facilitates the overall QS service from pre-contract to post contract work such as:

Cost Planning/Cost Estimates

Cost Control/Value Engineering

Pre-Qualification of bidders

Tendering (Preparation of BoQ and Pre-Tender Estimates to Awarding of Tender

Preparation of contracts, letter of nomination, and letter of award

Analysis of variation claims

Coordinates with site construction engineers to maintain complete and up-to-date records of transport, construction plant, materials and manpower used on variations to be carried out on day work basis.

Prepares contract close out and final accounts, includes carrying out final re- measurement of quantities (as applicable) using physical measurements or on the basis of “as built” drawings.

Subcontractor payment and variation preparation.

Delivery of financial statements
