Job Description – Civil Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure)

Responsible for managing quantity surveying activities for infrastructure and civil works, with a strong focus on quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation. Review project drawings, specifications, scope of works, and other technical documents to accurately determine quantities and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for infrastructure and civil works, including roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, pavements, and associated works.

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate measurement and identification of project quantities.

• Prepare detailed quantity calculations, cost estimates, and rate analysis.

• Verify quantities against drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or missing items.

• Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of quantities and cost information.

• Assist in reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations and preparing commercial comparisons.

• Maintain proper records of quantity calculations, BOQs, measurements, and supporting documents.

• Support project teams with quantity-related queries, variations, and measurement requirements.

• Ensure all quantity surveying activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
