Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. while reviewing project drawings, specifications, and scope of works.

  2. Prepare quotations, variations, and pricing for additional works and Monitor project quantities, costs, and material requirements.

  3. Prepare and verify subcontractor payment applications and valuations. Review supplier quotations and compare prices and specifications.

  4. Assist with procurement and ensure quantities are aligned with project requirements and be ready with variation orders, interim payment applications, and final accounts.

  5. Maintain accurate records of project costs, commitments, and expenditures. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, and subcontractors.

  6. Identify commercial risks, discrepancies, and potential cost overruns.

  7. Assist in preparing monthly cost reports and project financial updates while ensuring all commercial documents are properly recorded and maintained.

  8. Support contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

UAE experience with a landscape background required.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 1 year minimum of relevant experience in the UAE.

  • Experience in landscaping, civil works, irrigation, hardscape, or external works is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, variations, valuations, and cost control.

  • Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Experience with AutoCAD and quantity surveying/cost management software is an advantage.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
