React Native Mobile Developer

About the role

We need a React Native developer who can take a mobile feature from design to the App Store and Play Store. You’ll build smooth, fast apps for both iOS and Android from a shared codebase and care about how they feel in the user’s hand.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native

• Turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive screens

• Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs, push notifications, analytics and third-party SDKs

• Manage app state and offline behaviour in a clean, scalable way

• Debug and improve performance, memory use and app startup time

• Handle builds and releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience with React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript

• Good grasp of state management tools such as Redux, Zustand or React Query

• Experience publishing and maintaining live apps on both app stores

• Understanding of native modules and the basics of iOS (Xcode) and Android (Android Studio) builds

• Experience writing tests with Jest or React Native Testing Library

• Comfortable working with Git and in an Agile team

• Clear written and spoken English, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team

Nice to have

• Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience

• Experience with Expo, CodePush or Fastlane

• Arabic RTL layout support experience
