Job Summary

Oversees activities across a automation engineering function or integrating multiple departments, responsible for designing, developing, modifying and integrating computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of manufacturing, processing or production equipment. Develops and applies advanced electronic control systems. Oversees the design and manufacturing of consumer products and the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Leads teams in the most complex issues and developing new solutions

Education & Experience

Typically requires +12 years of experience in a related field and 8-12 years of experience on a Lead Role.

Typically Master's degree / College - university degree is required

Define enterprise automation vision, operating model, and multi-year strategy; govern architecture, cybersecurity, data integrity, and lifecycle standards across functions; sponsor transformative programs and cross-department integrations; allocate capital and resources using portfolio optimization and structured prioritization; establish global benchmarks, audit readiness, and continuous improvement ecosystems; shape external alliances, technology scouting, and innovation pipelines; embed safety, compliance, and quality by design at scale; develop senior leadership capability, succession strategies, and talent communities to sustain long-term organizational excellence.
