Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered General Nurse to provide first aid, occupational health, primary care, emergency response, health surveillance, wellness, and infection prevention services within a professional institutional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide immediate first aid and emergency medical care.

* Respond to medical emergencies, workplace injuries, chemical exposures, laboratory incidents, and other health emergencies.

* Administer CPR, AED, oxygen therapy, wound care, and emergency medications as required.

* Maintain and inspect first aid kits, AEDs, and medical response stations.

* Conduct occupational health assessments, pre-employment and periodic medical screenings.

* Monitor employees exposed to physical, biological, or chemical hazards.

* Assist with occupational illness, restricted-duty, and return-to-work assessments.

* Support health surveillance programs for occupational hazards such as noise, ergonomics, and heat stress.

* Support communicable disease control, vaccination, outbreak response, contact tracing, and isolation procedures.

* Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and incident documentation.

* Prepare health statistics and reports as required.

* Participate in workplace risk assessments and health-related incident investigations.

* Provide training on first aid, CPR, emergency response, hygiene, PPE, and exposure protocols.

* Participate in emergency drills and HSE training activities.

* Maintain proper hygiene and housekeeping of the first aid/medical room.

* Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and disposal of potentially hazardous materials.

Qualifications & Experience

* Registered Nurse with a valid license recognized by the Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.

* Minimum 5 years of relevant full-time nursing or occupational health experience.

* Current BLS certification.

* Advanced First Aid certification.

* CPR/AED, Emergency Medical Response, or First Responder certification.

* Occupational Health Nursing Certificate or Diploma is preferred.

* Qatar Prometric and DataFlow completed or eligible for MoPH licensure.

* Knowledge of occupational health standards and Qatar health and safety requirements.

* Familiarity with Qatar public health regulations, Labour Law, and infection control protocols.

* Experience in a university, corporate, industrial, or laboratory environment is highly desirable.

* Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

License/Certification:

  • MOPH Medical License in Qatar as Registered General Nurse (Required)
