REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE

• Responsible for providing nursing care through all phases of care taking into consideration age and developmental needs.

• Perform on-going periodic system assessment and data collection in a systematic manner.

• Assess, develop and implement plan of care as determined by the physician and healthcare team, treat patient accordingly as approved by patient and family.

• Performs periodic re-evaluation of the patient as necessary and adjusts in the patient’s treatment program.

• Effectively plans, organizes, sets priorities and completes work assignments with minimum direct supervision per agency policies.

• Provide treatment to patients as per protocol and medical services assessment and documentation.

• Checks for proper medication order, label drugs, administer medications as assigned and reviews drug samples.

• Educates and instructs the patient, patient’s family and other staff as required.

• Supervises and teaches Caregivers, Nanny and House helper as required for patient care according to the regulations.

• Assisting patient’s with day-to-day activities.

• Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

• Documents all care, intervention and care coordination as per regulation and agency policy.

• Notifies patient’s physician and responsible staff of significant changes in a timely manner.

• Coordinates all services provided; consults with other health professionals as needed.

• Performs post-surgical wound care.

• Verbalizes knowledge and purpose of patient rights and responsibilities.

• Complies with institutions policies and procedures.

• Communicates with the organization regarding problems and concerns.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 Years Diploma or BSc Degree in Nursing

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active licenses in the state(s) in which employed and practices.

EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a hospital/ clinical setting.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 per month
