Job description

*The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse (Outpatient Department Pelvic Mesh Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Provide outpatient experience relating to Urogynaecology, supporting effective clinic management and patient care

Demonstrate strong communication, consultation and conflict resolution skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrate experience in HBCIS, iEMR, ESM, EMS, Teams, Outlook Calendar and QReferral

Contribute to the development of innovative models of care, while adapting to change and supporting clinical practice and service delivery within the unit

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent

Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Permanent part time (45.6 hours per fortnight)

Base salary ranging from $44.27 - $56.79 per hour

About Us

The Urogynaecology Service and Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service (QPMS) operates as an Outpatient service Monday -Friday 0700 - 1630 at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital. The service is a multidisciplinary team department including Urogynaecologists, Urogynaecology Clinical Nurse Consultant's, Women's Health Physiotherapists, QPMS Social Worker, Psychologists, Pharmacist and Administrative staff.
