Registered Nurse | Paediatric Cardiac ICU

The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) cares for Pediatric patients requiring surgical treatment of cardiac or thoracic problems. This population includes patients requiring or having had thoracic surgery of the heart, lungs or great vessels. Off-service patients requiring ICU, cardiac monitoring or other nursing services may be admitted based on the availability of beds. Most commonly seen surgical procedures include:

• Congenital cardiac defect repairs

• Coronary artery bypass surgery

• Valve repair and/or replacement

• Heart transplant

• ECMOVAD bridge to recovery and/or transplant

• Pacemaker implantation

• Left ventricular assist device

• Assist with emergency procedures at bed side (open chest, ECMO cannulation, percutaneous tracheostomy)

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin.
