About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical **Junior Cybersecurity Digital Forensics Analyst** to support the investigation of security incidents, review digital evidence, and help identify potential causes of suspicious activity.

This role is suited to candidates who are interested in digital investigations, incident response, and forensic analysis. The successful candidate will work with security and IT teams to help document findings and strengthen organizational security practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with collecting and reviewing digital evidence in accordance with established procedures.

* Help analyze security logs, system events, and suspicious file activity.

* Support investigations into potential malware infections and unauthorized access.

* Maintain accurate records of investigative activities and evidence handling.

* Prepare incident summaries and technical investigation reports.

* Assist with identifying indicators of compromise and suspicious behavior.

* Support incident response teams with evidence preservation and follow-up analysis.

* Follow established procedures for data confidentiality and evidence integrity.

Requirements

* Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge.

* Basic understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and cybersecurity threats.

* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

* Good written communication and report-writing skills.

* Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

* Willingness to learn forensic tools and incident investigation procedures.

Preferred Skills

* Familiarity with Windows and Linux system logs.

* Basic knowledge of incident response and evidence preservation.

* Exposure to forensic tools such as Autopsy, Wireshark, or Velociraptor.

* Understanding of file systems, hashes, and indicators of compromise.

* Relevant certifications or cybersecurity lab experience are an advantage.
