We are seeking an experienced

Resident Engineer (Electrical)

to join a supervision consultancy team for a major infrastructure development project located approximately

100 km north of Jeddah

. The role involves supervising all electrical and related utility works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the electrical supervision activities on site as part of the consultant team.

  • Supervise installation and construction of power distribution networks (MV & LV).

  • Oversee street lighting systems and associated infrastructure.

  • Supervise works related to telecom infrastructure including ducts, chambers, and related systems.

  • Coordinate electrical works with other infrastructure utilities such as road networks, water, sewage, stormwater, gas distribution, irrigation, and landscaping.

  • Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.

  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors.

  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety requirements.

  • Resolve technical issues on site and coordinate with design teams when required.

  • Prepare and review site inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in infrastructure supervision projects with engineering consultancy firms.

  • Strong experience in MV/LV power distribution, street lighting, and telecom infrastructure.

  • Experience coordinating electrical works within multi-utility infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and site management skills.

  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
