Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Resident Engineer with relevant years of experience to join our Supervision Project Delivery Team in Abu Dhabi. This key role involves leading the post-contract construction supervision team, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget while maintaining contractual compliance.

Responsibilities:

The role covers the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Supervision of the site engineers and the inspectors working on the construction supervision.

• Responsible for reviewing all shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requests for information relating to the drainage and associated works.

• Demonstrating extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of civil building projects.

• Ability to make senior-level project decisions and liaise with applicable authorities.

• Coordinate his direct activities with the other disciplines to maintain consistency and integrity in the overall construction

• Coordinate with the Contractor on scheduling and application of resources

• Act as the main point of contact between the engineering consultancy and the client.

• Regularly communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Familiar with Abu Dhabi regulations General Conditions of the Contract

• Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.

Requirements:

• Only the candidates available in UAE with UAE experience may apply

• Experience working with Engineering consultants within UAE with supervision projects is a must.

• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills

• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

• Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration

• Experience in Submittal administration/Site supervision/Team Management and manage technical issues.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
