This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and validation of innovative wireless, radio, and antenna technologies.
You will support RF subsystem bring-up, simulation, integration, and performance validation across complex engineering projects.
The position combines hands-on testing, technical analysis, automation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
You will help identify performance issues, validate RF designs, and ensure systems meet technical and quality expectations.
The role is well suited to an engineer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems and translating test results into actionable recommendations.
You will work in a collaborative environment alongside engineers involved in RF, antenna, wireless, and related technologies.
This is a remote contract opportunity offering the flexibility to contribute to advanced RF projects from anywhere in the United States.
Accountabilities
RF integration and bring-up: Support the bring-up, integration, and validation of RF, antenna, and wireless subsystems throughout development.
Simulation and validation: Perform RF simulations and validation activities to assess design performance, identify issues, and verify technical requirements.
Subsystem testing: Develop and execute test plans to evaluate wireless and RF subsystem performance across relevant operating conditions.
Test automation: Automate RF test equipment and measurement workflows to improve testing efficiency, repeatability, and data quality.
Performance analysis: Analyze test and simulation results, identify anomalies or performance gaps, and develop practical recommendations for resolution.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with RF, antenna, hardware, systems, and other engineering teams to coordinate integration activities and resolve technical challenges.
Technical communication: Document testing methodologies, findings, results, and recommendations clearly for both technical and cross-functional audiences.
Problem solving: Investigate complex RF integration and validation issues and contribute to solutions that improve overall subsystem performance and reliability.
Project support: Contribute to engineering milestones by completing integration, testing, simulation, and validation activities according to project requirements and timelines.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
RF experience: 3+ years of professional experience in RF integration, testing, validation, or a closely related engineering field.
RF engineering knowledge: Solid understanding of RF systems, wireless technologies, antenna behavior, and subsystem performance.
Simulation expertise: Demonstrated experience using simulation and validation techniques to assess RF designs and identify potential performance issues.
Testing skills: Experience developing and executing RF or wireless test procedures and interpreting measurement results.
Test automation: Practical experience automating test equipment, measurement workflows, or related engineering processes.
Analytical ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and draw meaningful conclusions from complex data.
Cross-functional communication: Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders.
Technical judgment: Ability to work independently, prioritize technical challenges, and develop practical solutions in a project-driven environment.
Remote collaboration: Comfortable working remotely while maintaining effective communication and coordination with distributed engineering teams.
