Sales Business Data Analyst

Are you passionate about combining data, technology, and business strategy to drive real-world results? We're looking for a Sales Business Data Analyst to play a critical role in supporting Autocar's Vocational Sales teams through CRM management, data governance, analytics, and sales operations excellence.

In this role, you'll serve as the owner of Autocar's sales CRM while ensuring sales teams have access to clean, accurate, and actionable data. You'll collaborate closely with sales leadership, field teams, IT, and business stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do

Lead CRM Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Autocar's sales CRM.

  • Manage user access, permissions, workflows, fields, and system configurations.

  • Support ongoing CRM enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization initiatives.

  • Partner with internal teams to support future integrations and system improvements.

  • Act as the central point of contact for CRM questions, support, and user adoption.

Drive Data Governance & Quality

  • Own the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of sales data across the CRM platform.

  • Develop and enforce data standards, naming conventions, validation rules, and governance processes.

  • Identify and eliminate duplicate records, outdated data, and incomplete information.

  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate data management standards.

  • Establish repeatable processes that maintain long-term CRM data health and reliability.

Deliver Reporting, Analytics & Business Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for sales leadership and Vocational Sales teams.

  • Support pipeline visibility, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and sales performance measurement.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support strategic decision-making.

  • Translate complex sales data into actionable insights that improve execution and accountability.

Support Sales Enablement

  • Partner with inside and outside sales teams to drive effective CRM utilization.

  • Train users on CRM best practices, processes, and data standards.

  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the sales organization.

  • Develop expertise in Autocar's products, customers, competitors, and sales processes.

  • Ensure CRM workflows align with real-world sales activities and business objectives.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Lead CRM access audits and user management initiatives.

  • Improve CRM adoption across the sales organization.

  • Establish reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into sales activity and customer opportunities.

  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy, ownership, and accountability.

  • Support alignment between CRM and other key Autocar business systems.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in CRM administration, sales operations, business analytics, or data stewardship.

  • Hands-on experience administering CRM platforms such as Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar systems.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data cleansing, workflow design, and CRM best practices.

  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and sales performance metrics.

  • Knowledge of sales pipelines, forecasting, opportunity management, and sales terminology.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI platforms, or similar technologies.

  • Industry experience supporting automotive, heavy-duty truck, manufacturing, or industrial equipment organizations.

  • Experience with Zoho CRM and Deluge scripting.

  • Experience supporting sales operations and business process improvement initiatives.
