Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Quality Assurance, Tester based in United States.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of Salesforce-based technology solutions. You will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies that validate functionality against business requirements and user expectations. Working across functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing, you will help identify defects and ensure critical workflows perform as intended. The position combines Salesforce expertise with strong software testing practices and an emphasis on test automation and quality measurement. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams within an Agile environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvements in testing efficiency, coverage, and release stability.

Accountabilities:

Drive quality assurance activities across Salesforce solutions by planning, designing, executing, and continuously improving testing practices.

  • Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing strategies.

  • Create detailed test scenarios and test cases aligned with business requirements and mapping documentation.

  • Validate Salesforce integrations, business workflows, and critical processes to ensure solutions meet functional and technical expectations.

  • Assess Salesforce configurations, objects, automations, different cloud environments, and deployment processes as part of comprehensive testing.

  • Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of defects throughout the development and release lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, business stakeholders, and other technical teams within Agile delivery environments.

  • Promote and support test automation initiatives through appropriate frameworks, tools, and quality practices.

  • Help optimize testing cycles, increase test coverage, and improve overall QA team efficiency.

  • Define, monitor, and analyze quality metrics and KPIs, including test coverage, defect rates, automation efficiency, and release stability.

  • Provide insights from QA metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong software testing expertise, Salesforce knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into thorough, effective testing approaches.

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

  • Strong experience with test case design, defect management, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.

  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with development, product, and business stakeholders.

  • Expert ability to create test scenarios and cases that accurately reflect business requirements and mapping documentation.

  • Solid knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce clouds, configurations, objects, automations, integrations, and deployment processes.

  • Experience validating both functional and technical components of Salesforce solutions.

  • Understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and practices is preferred.

  • Experience defining or analyzing QA metrics and KPIs such as test coverage, defect rates, automation efficiency, and release stability is a plus.

  • U.S. citizenship, whether U.S.-born or naturalized, is required.

  • Ability to qualify for, obtain, and maintain the required U.S. Government Public Trust designation, subject to a satisfactory background investigation.
