This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Scrum Master based in the United States.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity supporting Agile delivery across a range of organizations and teams.

The role focuses on enabling high-performing Scrum teams through effective facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement.

You’ll help teams run productive sprints, remove delivery obstacles, and strengthen their adoption of Agile principles.

The position requires strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to navigate team dynamics and stakeholder expectations.

You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders and use Agile project management tools to support transparent, organized delivery.

The environment offers flexibility while providing opportunities to influence processes and improve how teams collaborate and deliver value.

This opportunity is well suited to an experienced Scrum Master or Agile Coach who thrives in dynamic, remote environments.

Accountabilities

Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring each session is focused and productive.

Coach Scrum teams on Agile principles, practices, roles, responsibilities, and continuous improvement.

Identify, track, and help remove impediments that could affect sprint execution or team delivery.

Support healthy team dynamics by encouraging collaboration, accountability, transparency, and effective communication.

Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to maintain alignment around priorities, objectives, and expected outcomes.

Monitor sprint progress and help teams improve predictability, delivery quality, and overall effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and team practices and support the implementation of practical improvements.

Use Agile project management tools to maintain visibility into work, dependencies, risks, and delivery progress.

Help teams adopt sustainable Agile practices while adapting approaches to the needs of different organizational environments.

Contribute to successful project execution by proactively identifying risks, facilitating resolution, and keeping stakeholders informed.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.

Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and iterative software delivery practices.

Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and effectively manage team dynamics.

Demonstrated experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.

Strong communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to build productive relationships with technical and business stakeholders in remote and distributed environments.

Experience using Agile project management and collaboration tools.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to identify impediments and coordinate practical solutions.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.

Experience within financial services or technology environments is advantageous.

Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks is a plus.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a strong focus on delivery outcomes.
