UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking three (3) experienced Scrum Masters for onsite roles in Brooklyn, NY OR within the 5 boroughs as necessary to support enterprise application development and deployment initiatives. Active LinkedIn preferred. The Scrum Masters will lead Agile/Scrum activities, facilitate sprint planning and delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary development teams, manage product backlogs and user stories, remove project impediments, and provide ongoing project status reporting to stakeholders. The ideal candidates will have strong experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum, functional business analysis, and sprint delivery.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:

  • Project Management and Agile Development Methodologies.

  • Scrum methodology.

  • Functional Business Analysis.

  • Sprint delivery planning.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Perform Sprint Planning and implementation.

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in application development and deployment.

  • Provide management reporting and information dissemination.

  • Ensure all team members understand the project's goals and scope.

  • Lead the planning and/or implementation of applications.

  • Participate in application design and/or testing phases.

  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.

  • Assist with resolving conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.

  • Assist the Product Owner with maintaining the product backlog.

  • Facilitate Scrum events, including daily standups and other required meetings.

  • Develop methods to monitor project or functional area progress and provide corrective supervision when necessary.

  • Prioritize and organize user stories into weekly sprints.

  • Conduct daily Scrum meetings to track project progress.

  • Provide weekly status reports to the PMO and all relevant stakeholders.

  • Coach development teams in self-organization.

  • Help remove obstacles and impediments affecting development team progress.

  • Encourage organizational adoption of Scrum and Agile development methodologies.

  • Coach the organization through the transition to a Scrum working framework.

  • Keep the organization and project stakeholders informed regarding the progress of Scrum team projects.
