About the Opportunity:

The SECURITY ENGINEER, VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT is responsible for supporting and enhancing the vulnerability management program. This role plays a key part in identifying security vulnerabilities, managing penetration testing, and driving remediation efforts. The position contributes to maintaining the organization's cybersecurity posture by collaborating across teams and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain vulnerability management and penetration testing platforms

• Plan, execute, and assess vulnerability scanning and penetration testing services

• Manage vulnerability scan and penetration testing outputs, providing detailed reports on vulnerabilities, impacts, and remediation suggestions

• Provide technical support for vulnerability management and penetration testing initiatives

• Collaborate to ensure vulnerability management and security controls comply with applicable policies, laws, and regulations

• Partner with system owners and developers to prioritize and resolve high-risk vulnerabilities

• Facilitate penetration testing engagements between external vendors and internal teams

• Develop and update vulnerability management processes, procedures, and documentation

• Train and mentor team members on vulnerability management practices and tools

• Conduct vulnerability management reviews and audits

• Monitor emerging threats and assess their potential impact on the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field

• Over 3 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related field

• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools and methodologies (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges

• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic team environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

• Demonstrated initiative in process improvement, mentoring, and expanding technical skills

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $117,800 to $162,200 annually plus bonus eligibility

• Final pay will consider the candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors
