Senior Accountant

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.

5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.

Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations and financial reporting.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

For non-Saudi candidates: Valid Iqama with legal status, eligible for sponsorship transfer, and no residency or employment-related issues. Sponsorship will be transferred to Parkonic.

Skills:

Manage month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Reconcile sales across different systems and ensure revenue accuracy.

Prepare and submit VAT returns while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.

Maintain internal financial controls and support internal and external audits.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial systems.
