Job description
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Close: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Reconciliations & Audits: Reconcile general ledger accounts, review sub-ledger balances, and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Analysis & Budgeting: Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis, monitor cash flow, and assist management with financial forecasting.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor staff and assistant accountants, reviewing their day-to-day tasks.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and tax regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant accounting or public finance experience.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software (Zoho books).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
Experience:
- GCC: 5 years (Preferred)
