Senior Accountant

Cornish Arabian Aluminium Factory is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project cost accounting within EPC, construction, contracting, engineering, industrial, or marine environments.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, preparing budgets and forecasts, managing supplier and subcontractor accounts, performing reconciliations, and supporting accurate financial and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and allocate project costs accurately.

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost forecasts.

• Analyze actual costs against budgets and identify cost variances.

• Manage inventory accounting and reconciliations.

• Handle supplier and subcontractor accounting and reconciliations.

• Monitor project advances, commitments, and outstanding liabilities.

• Support month-end closing activities and project cost reporting.

• Prepare management reports and financial analysis.

• Ensure accurate recording of project-related financial transactions.

• Work with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

• Support the Finance and Project Management teams with cost-related information

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience as a Project Accountant

• Strong experience in Construction, Contracting, Engineering, Industrial environments.

• Strong knowledge of full project cost accounting cycles.

• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
