SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Qatar. Candidates with a strong accounting background in the Oil & Gas industry and sound banking knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and management accounts.

• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and banking transactions.

• Coordinate with banks regarding payments, fund transfers, and other banking activities.

• Manage payroll accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Monitor project expenses, cost control, and financial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with Qatar tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure accurate financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry (10+ years of experience.

• Strong knowledge of banking procedures and financial transactions in Qatar.

• Good understanding of Qatar’s financial regulations and accounting practices.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
