Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, and multi-entity accounting operations.

Reporting to accounting leadership, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial analysis, intercompany transactions, and supporting the month-end and year-end close process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in an environment where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and other month-end adjustments.
Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
Perform detailed variance analysis for revenue, operating expenses, and key balance sheet accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
Support consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting activities.
Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
Develop operational and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with audits, special projects, and other accounting initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.
Experience working in a multi-entity environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Workday is required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and financial analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
