Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties

  • Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies.

  • Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.

  • Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and vendor payments using financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday.

  • Handle accounts receivable management, ensuring timely collection and accurate recordkeeping.

  • Conduct detailed data entry and Excel data analysis utilizing formulas like VLOOKUP for efficient financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit requirements to safeguard company assets.

  • Support payroll management activities using systems such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Ceridian; assist with benefits administration and HRIS data updates.

  • Perform account reconciliation tasks across multiple systems including PeopleSoft and other accounting software platforms.

  • Assist with public accounting audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP standards and financial compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in Excel data analysis, including advanced formulas like VLOOKUP and complex spreadsheet management.

  • Knowledge of SOX controls, internal audit procedures, and financial reporting best practices.

  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro or Ceridian for payroll processing and benefits administration.

  • Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and journal entry preparation accurately.

  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on data entry accuracy and timely completion of tasks.

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and supporting audit processes.
