Job Description

SAN-E is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial records, oversee accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial activities accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and financial performance.

  • Manage VAT calculations, filings, and related documentation in accordance with UAE regulations.

  • Assist with corporate tax compliance and financial reporting requirements.

  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

  • Review invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy.

  • Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Maintain proper financial documentation and internal controls.

  • Ensure timely preparation of management reports and financial summaries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
