Senior Android Developer

Location: UAE | Onsite

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our client's team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in native Android development

, modern Android architecture, and experience working on Banking, FinTech, Payments, or other financial-services applications

.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications

  .

• Build scalable, secure and high-performance mobile applications.

• Develop modern Android interfaces using Jetpack Compose

  .

• Participate in architecture, technical design and development decisions.

• Work across the complete development lifecycle including development, testing, release and production support.

• Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance, stability and reliability.

• Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA and UI/UX teams.

• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers where required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Native Android Development

  .

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

  .

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android SDK.

• Strong knowledge of MVVM, MVI and/or Clean Architecture

  .

• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, ViewModel and Android Jetpack

  .

• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp and REST APIs

  .

• Experience with Room / SQLite / DataStore

  .

• Experience with Hilt, Dagger or Koin

  .

• Good understanding of Unit Testing / UI Testing

  .

• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Android release management

  .

• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

• Experience working with production applications.

Financial Domain Experience – Mandatory

Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

Banking | Digital Banking | FinTech | Payments | Digital Wallets | Payment Gateways | UPI / QR Payments | POS / Payment Terminals | Financial Services | Insurance with payment workflows

Experience with KYC, OTP, biometric authentication, secure transactions, payment SDKs, card payments or transaction processing will be an advantage.
