We're partnering with a fast-growing consumer technology company building an innovative product at the intersection of mobile software, connected hardware, data, and health & wellness.

The Android application is a primary way customers interact with the company's product—controlling and configuring their hardware while gaining personalized insights from their data. We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a strong eye for product quality and user experience.

What You'll Do:

Build and ship high-quality features for a native Android application.
Own features from technical design through development, testing, release, and iteration.
Build polished, responsive user experiences using Jetpack Compose.
Design scalable, maintainable, and testable Android architecture.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and stability.
Conduct code reviews and help maintain a high engineering-quality bar.
Partner closely with Product and Design to create intuitive, polished mobile experiences.
Collaborate with backend, firmware, hardware, and ML engineers on features spanning the technology stack.

What We're Looking For:

8+ years of native Android development experience.
Deep expertise in Kotlin.
Strong production experience with Jetpack Compose.
Strong knowledge of Coroutines & Flow.
Experience with MVVM and/or MVI.
Experience building scalable, testable, production-grade Android applications.
Strong understanding of modern Android architecture and engineering best practices.
Experience shipping polished consumer-facing mobile products.
Ability to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for stability and code quality.

Bonus Points:

Building custom UI components in Jetpack Compose.
Connected hardware, IoT, Bluetooth/BLE, or peripheral integrations.
Health, fitness, wellness, or medical technology.
Experience developing software that interacts with physical products.
High-growth startup or consumer technology experience.
Mobile performance optimization and application reliability.
CI/CD, automated testing, and mobile release engineering.
