We partner with startups and Fortune 500 organizations to deliver innovative, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions through onsite and offshore delivery models.

We have immediate requirement for a Senior API/AI Engineer with our direct clients in Houston TX. The position is a long term contract and 100% remote position.

The selected candidate is expected to work during CST timezone.

Senior API/AI Engineer with strong expertise to help build and scale the core APIs powering our healthcare analytics platform. You'll work on high-impact systems handling complex data pipelines, secure integrations, and performant APIs—while collaborating closely with front-end, product, data, and clinical stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience in HL7 FIHR or Epic (healthcare patient records)
Proven experience with Node.js / Typescript
API web development with Node and Express
Postgres
Experience with GCP or AWS/Azure cloud (kubernetes).
Lambda function or Cloud function development
Github actions.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, and backend performance optimization;
Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection for healthcare and enterprise use cases.

Nice to Have:

Langsmith/Lang chain.
Opensi/groq api.
Experience with API versioning, schema migrations, and zero-downtime deployments.
High-load API development, establishing monitoring and observability standards.
Exposure to event streaming (Pub/Sub, Kafka, queues) or data pipelines
