Senior Automation Test Engineer – Playwright | Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Contract to 18 December 2026 | Melbourne | 3 Days Onsite | CloudMarc
CloudMarc is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong functional testing capability and hands-on Playwright and Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience to join a major enterprise digital program.
The Role
You’ll be responsible f
or:

Designing, building and maintaining automated test coverage using Playwright.

Performing hands-on functional and automation testing across new feature development.
-
Supporting the Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA-to-SCAPI migration.

Testing SCAPI-based integrations and functionality.
-
Validating complex end-to-end customer journeys across digital commerce.
-
Developing reliable, maintainable and scalable automation coverage.
-
Creating and maintaining test scenarios, test cases and test data.
-
Identifying, documenting and managing defects through to resolution.
-
Working closely with developers, BAs, product teams and other Quality Engineers.

Supporting regression and release testing across the program.
What We're Looking For
-
Strong commercial Automation Testing / Quality Engineering experience.

Hands-on Playwright automation experience – essential.

Strong functional testing fundamentals.

Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience – essential.
-
Experience with SFRA and/or SCAPI highly regarded.

Strong API and integration testing experience.

Experience testing complex eCommerce customer journeys.

Ability to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test coverage.

Strong understanding of end-to-end and regression testing.

Experience working within Agile engineering teams.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
