Job description

Nagarro is a fast-growing cloud, data, and AI consultancy built on the foundation of FWD View, a specialist data-focused consultancy working predominantly within financial services. Backed by a global engineering business, we’re building a high-autonomy practice focused on helping enterprises modernise, scale AI, and unlock value from complex environments.

Nagarro are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud / Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team in Dublin, working within a highly technical, fast-paced enterprise environment.

We’re looking for someone with genuine depth across AWS. Not simply experience deploying workloads into AWS, but someone who has designed, built, automated, secured and operated production cloud infrastructure.

You will bring strong experience across:

  • AWS platform and infrastructure engineering, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM and Lambda

  • Kubernetes / EKS and containerised environments

  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

  • Deep AWS networking, including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPN, NAT Gateway, Direct Connect, DNS and routing

  • AWS security, IAM, secrets management and encryption

  • Infrastructure automation using Python and/or Shell, with Ansible experience beneficial

  • CI/CD and automated infrastructure deployment

  • Observability and monitoring, ideally CloudWatch, Splunk and/or OpenTelemetry

  • Designing for high availability, resilience and disaster recovery, including multi-AZ/multi-region environments

  • Troubleshooting complex production infrastructure and conducting technical root cause analysis

  • Cloud performance, capacity and AWS cost optimisation

  • Working across hybrid environments, with exposure to Azure and/or GCP beneficial

  • Exposure to AWS Bedrock, AI-assisted operations, automated remediation or self-healing infrastructure would be particularly interesting.

We’re less interested in someone who has simply used AWS and more interested in engineers who understand how to build and engineer production cloud platforms properly on AWS, can explain the architectural choices they’ve made, and are comfortable owning complex environments from build through to production reliability.
