We are looking for an experienced

Backend Developer specialized in Node.js

to build and scale the backend infrastructure powering Compero.

Core Technologies

Node.js | NestJS | ExpressJS | FastifyJS

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js.

• Build scalable REST APIs and backend architecture.

• Develop services using NestJS, ExpressJS, and/or FastifyJS.

• Design efficient database structures and queries.

• Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources.

• Build and maintain services responsible for processing large volumes of food, restaurant, pricing, and delivery data.

• Work with frontend, mobile, AI, and QA engineers.

• Improve API response times and overall application performance.

• Implement caching, queues, background jobs, and asynchronous processing where required.

• Build reliable data pipelines and synchronization processes.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system stability.

• Write clean, maintainable, documented, and testable code.

• Implement appropriate security, authentication, logging, and monitoring practices.

• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with

  Node.js

  .

• Strong experience with

  NestJS

  .

• Experience with

  ExpressJS and/or FastifyJS

  .

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.

• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs.

• Understanding of caching, queues, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.

• Good understanding of Git and modern development workflows.

• Experience building production-grade and scalable backend applications.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with microservices.

• Experience processing large datasets.

• Experience with scraping/data collection systems.

• Experience integrating AI/LLM services.

• Experience in FoodTech, marketplaces, aggregators, or price-comparison platforms.
