We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust backend systems that power innovative web applications and services. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using technologies such as C#, Java, Python, and Node.js within a microservices architecture.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services (SOAP, XML, JSON) to ensure seamless communication between frontend applications and backend systems.
Develop and manage databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle (PL/SQL), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms while adhering to best practices for API security.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with Angular, React, or other frameworks using TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Participate actively in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, or SVN.
Conduct thorough debugging and unit testing to ensure code quality; utilize tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse for application development.
Engage in system architecture planning for cloud deployment on AWS or Azure; leverage cloud services for scalability and resilience.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, APIs, database schemas, and deployment procedures in accordance with SDLC standards.

Skills

Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms for deploying scalable backend solutions.
Strong proficiency in RESTful API design; familiarity with SOAP web services is a plus.
Deep understanding of web development principles including MVC frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or Ruby on Rails.
Hands-on experience with ORM tools like Hibernate or Entity Framework for database interaction.
Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL), PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; solid understanding of database design principles.
Knowledge of application development using C#, Java, Python or Ruby; experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming models.
Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS; experience managing code repositories effectively.
Experience working within Agile environments utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies; strong collaboration skills.
Ability to write clean code with a focus on unit testing and debugging; familiarity with tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse is essential.
Knowledge of front-end integration using Angular, React or other JavaScript frameworks; understanding of UI/UX principles is advantageous.
Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is required.
