About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable APIs, integration services and backend capabilities for a modern enterprise digital platform.

You will work on services that connect web and mobile applications with CRM and other enterprise systems. The role requires strong Python engineering skills, hands-on Azure experience and a solid understanding of distributed systems, API architecture, security and integration patterns.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop production-grade backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
Create reusable REST APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications.
Build Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services where experience-specific APIs are required.
Integrate backend applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and other enterprise platforms.
Develop integration and abstraction layers that isolate applications from underlying third-party platform implementations.
Design services that aggregate information and actions across multiple enterprise systems.
Implement synchronous APIs, asynchronous processing and event-driven workflows.
Build secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT-based approaches.
Implement resilient distributed-system patterns including retries, timeouts, idempotency, rate limiting and circuit breaking.
Develop caching and optimized data-access strategies for high-volume application workloads.
Use Azure services for API management, application hosting, messaging, secrets management and monitoring.
Implement structured logging, telemetry and distributed tracing.
Develop automated unit, integration and API contract tests.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and engineering quality controls.
Diagnose and resolve complex application and integration issues in production environments.
Collaborate with frontend, mobile, platform, CRM and architecture teams.

Pay: $106,342.23 - $128,068.06 per year
