Senior Broadcast Engineer - Solutions

Job Summary:

We're looking for a technically strong Senior Broadcast Engineer – Solutions to support solution design, tender response, and project engineering activities.

In this role, you'll review client requirements and RFPs, develop broadcast system designs, prepare technical documentation and SOWs, and support projects from design stage through implementation and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client requirements, tender documents, RFQs, and RFPs

• Prepare Statements of Work, BOQs, technical proposals, and compliance matrices

• Develop broadcast system architectures, signal flow diagrams, and technical drawings

• Prepare drawings using Visio and AutoCAD

• Use Excel for BOQs, equipment lists, cable schedules, and technical comparisons

• Design broadcast solutions covering SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, audio/video routing, intercom, storage, graphics, and production systems

• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for equipment selection and technical validation

• Participate in client meetings, site surveys, and technical discussions

• Support project teams during implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover

• Prepare and review project engineering and as-built documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Broadcast Engineering, Communications, IT, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in broadcast engineering or systems integration

• Strong knowledge of broadcast systems and IP-based workflows

• Ability to independently read and analyze RFPs and technical specifications

• Strong ability to prepare professional Statements of Work (SOWs)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, and Excel

• Good knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110, networking, signal routing, and media workflows

• Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience with major broadcast vendors and platforms is an advantage
