Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale Smart Campus and Building Intelligence Program. The role bridges business operations and technology, translating operational requirements into technical solutions, integration specifications, and data-driven use cases that support Digital Twin and Smart Building platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Conduct workshops and stakeholder sessions with operations, facilities, engineering, security, and executive teams.

• Assess source systems, assets, interfaces, and data dependencies across the smart campus ecosystem.

• Define system integration requirements, interface specifications, data contracts, and end-to-end process flows.

• Develop data mapping, normalization, and transformation requirements.

• Define KPIs, dashboards, reporting requirements, and role-based access controls.

• Document operational workflows, SOPs, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Support Digital Twin and Smart Building use case development.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration validation, and defect management activities.

• Coordinate knowledge transfer, training, and go-live readiness activities.

• Maintain integration matrices and dependency registers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Smart Building, Facilities Management, or Digital Transformation environments.

• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC operations, energy monitoring, and facilities management processes.

• Experience defining integrations between enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and building technologies.

• Knowledge of BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, and MQTT protocols.

• Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, ETL processes, message queues, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience with CAFM, CMMS, ITSM, GIS, VMS, PSIM, or related operational platforms.

• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.

• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Johnson Controls OpenBlue, Honeywell, Siemens, or similar building technology platforms.

• GIS and BIM knowledge.

• Energy management and sustainability reporting experience.

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certifications.
