Job Summary:
Acrisure is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer based in our Infrastructure Operations group that is responsible for supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure services with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. This role supports cloud resource provisioning, infrastructure automation, monitoring, governance, and operational readiness across cloud and hybrid environments. The Cloud Engineer partners with network, telephony, EUC, operations, security, business systems, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, well-governed cloud services that align with enterprise standards and business objectives. There is a heavy emphasis on Azure Virtual Desktop technology.
Responsibilities:

Very heavy focus on Azure Virtual Desktop, leveraging Nerdio and FxLogic.

Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, storage, DNS, identity integration, and platform services.

Provision and manage cloud resources using approved standards for subscriptions, management groups, resource groups, tagging, naming conventions, and environment classification.

Support Infrastructure as Code and automation toolkits to improve consistency, repeatability, compliance, and speed of cloud deployments.

Maintain security controls for cloud environments, including least-privilege access, privileged identity management, role-based access control, encryption, logging, monitoring, and policy enforcement.

Partner with observability and operations teams to configure actionable monitoring, alerting, dashboards, telemetry, escalation paths, and operational reporting for cloud resources.

Support cloud lifecycle management activities, including operating system upgrade planning, patching coordination, backup alignment, disaster recovery readiness, capacity planning, and cost optimization.

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate technical designs, and deliver cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Participate in troubleshooting and tier-three escalation support for cloud infrastructure incidents, performance issues, connectivity problems, and service reliability concerns.

Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, deployment guides, diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for cloud platforms and services
Requirements:

Three or more years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure services in an enterprise environment.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration, including compute, storage, identity integration, monitoring, backup, and governance capabilities.

Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, including Virtual Desktop & IaaS

Strong understand of PaaS, serverless services, virtualization, networking, security, scalability, resiliency, and cost management.

Familiarity with Azure Policy, management groups, subscriptions, resource tagging, RBAC, privileged access, and cloud governance practices.

Experience supporting cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar platforms.

Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across cloud, identity, operating system, and application layers.

Strong documentation, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Proactive, ownership-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment.

Strong commitment to secure, reliable, scalable, and well-documented infrastructure services.

Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation, standardization, repeatable processes, and operational maturity.

Ability to balance project delivery, operational support, stakeholder communication, and production reliability priorities.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications to include, but not limited to Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer are preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
