Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support cybersecurity risk management for Aviation programs and products across CPE Aviation. The role requires a seasoned cybersecurity professional capable of leading Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous security postures across multiple accredited systems.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a cybersecurity liaison across government, contractor, and military organizations to ensure unified implementation of cybersecurity requirements and timely resolution of vulnerabilities.

  • Manage cybersecurity compliance for Army Aviation systems, including oversight of accreditation packages, continuous monitoring, and execution of RMF lifecycle activities from categorization through ongoing assessments.

  • Support risk management initiatives by assessing threats, coordinating mitigations, and ensuring documentation aligns with DoD expectations for secure system operation.

  • Leverage experience with eMASS to develop, update, and validate cybersecurity artifacts ensuring compliance with DoDI 8500, DoDI 8510, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53r5, and Army-specific cybersecurity regulations.

  • Lead and support cybersecurity testing, system audits, and authorization reviews to maintain accreditation status and ensure readiness during milestones.

  • Provide expert technical guidance for security strategies, engineering controls, and complex security problem resolution across multiple classification levels.

  • Conduct or support internal security validation audits (SCA-O) to prepare systems for authorization decisions.

  • Participate in security-related working groups, technical discussions, and cross-organizational planning sessions.

  • Implement advanced techniques to strengthen confidentiality, integrity, and availability for diverse aviation and mission systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Information Security, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years’ professional cybersecurity experience (RMF, A&A, ISSM/ISSO, vulnerability management, system accreditation).

  • Active DoD Secret clearance; TS/SCI highly preferred.

  • Current CISSP certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification).

  • Ability to coordinate with senior leaders, cybersecurity authorities, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems Management

  • Demonstrated experience managing large/complex accreditation packages, continuous monitoring, system testing, eMASS packages, and preparing systems for ATO/ATC.

  • Background supporting DoW systems

  • Demonstrated experience managing RMF packages, continuous monitoring, system testing, eMASS packages, and preparing systems for ATO/ATC.

  • Experience serving as ISSM, ISSO, or SCA-O supporting high-visibility cybersecurity efforts.

  • Defense Acquisition University training or Level 2 certification.
