Senior Data Analyst - Fleet Electrification Programme
Dublin Bus | 2-Year Fixed Term | Project Management Office
Dublin Bus is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in its Fleet Electrification Programme — using data, insight and modelling to help shape the future of public transport.
This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation programme, turning complex operational data into clear insights that support investment, planning and data-driven decision-making.
What you’ll be doing:

Analyse vehicle, charger, telematics, operational and scheduling data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.

Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, reports and data visualisations for programme and business leadership.

Build scenario, capacity and financial models to test assumptions and assess potential outcomes.

Map and manage current and future data flows, databases and data interfaces

Provide analytical insights to support business cases, project benefits and operational improvements.

Work closely with programme teams, SMEs, project managers and external stakeholders to understand requirements and translate data into actionable insight.

Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What we’re looking for:

NFQ Level 8 qualification in a quantitative discipline.

5+ years’ experience in a senior data analyst role , including KPI development and complex data analysis.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Power BI and DAX
; Tableau/QlikView experience is also valuable.

Knowledge of data warehouses, ETL, data governance and data quality.

Experience with statistical analysis, scenario modelling and data visualisation
.

Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and macros.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in transport, logistics or operational environments would be an advantage.
