Role Description

The Senior Data & Business Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business and data requirements to support strategic decision-making and process optimization. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with stakeholders to define business needs, translating requirements into functional specifications, and developing data models, reports, and dashboards. The role involves evaluating existing business processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, and supporting the design and implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The analyst will also prepare clear documentation, present findings and recommendations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of changes and continuous performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving.

• Proficiency in business analysis, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and solution definition.

• Solid understanding of business processes and business requirements, with the ability to map, document, and optimize workflows.

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and proficiency in Excel or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with BI, analytics platforms, and databases; knowledge of SQL or similar query languages is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are beneficial.

• Proven experience in a senior analyst role, preferably within IT services or one of HyperThink’s core vertical markets.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt to a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
