Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Data Modeller / Business Data Analyst

with strong expertise in

Financial Markets Data, Data Modelling, SQL, Business Analysis, and Data Governance

within the banking sector.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create and maintain comprehensive data models for

Markets data

.
Map data attributes, relationships, and data flows across systems.
Design and optimize data structures and databases in collaboration with IT Architects.
Work with DevOps and engineering teams to define data platform requirements.
Validate data models and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to translate requirements into actionable backlog items.
Maintain documentation covering

data models, lineage, metadata, mappings, and data flows

.
Act as a

Markets Data SME

for data sourcing, integration, distribution, and utilization.
Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
Analyse complex data requirements and translate them into practical data solutions.

Qualification & Experience

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modelling
Proven

Banking

experience
Strong

Financial Markets / Markets Data

domain knowledge
Good understanding of financial market products and processes
Strong

SQL

skills
Experience with

Data Governance
Data mapping, data lineage, and metadata management

ERwin, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent tools
