Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Manager to own the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex data and technology solutions
. The ideal candidate will combine strong Product Management, Agile delivery, data analysis, technical architecture, and stakeholder management skills to drive product strategy, roadmap, delivery, and adoption.
This role will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Go-to-Market, and business teams to identify opportunities, remove execution barriers, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with customer and business needs.
The ideal candidate has experience delivering large-scale data or technology initiatives in frontline, Retail, Care, or other operationally intensive environments
, along with strong executive communication and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous and fast-moving situations.
Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex data and technology solutions, from strategy and discovery through delivery, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and strategic priorities.

Conduct market, customer, and business research to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.

Manage the product backlog
, prioritize features, coordinate dependencies, and address technical debt.

Support and enable core Agile practices
, including efficient just-in-time flow, Lean principles, waste reduction, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Development, DevOps, and business stakeholders to drive technical delivery and product releases.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize features, assess risks, measure outcomes, and support product decisions.

Identify execution, operational, organizational, and process issues that may impede product success and drive improvement plans.

Develop adoption tools, training materials, technical documentation, and product communications

Translate complex technical and data concepts into clear business requirements and actionable product priorities.

Work with senior leaders and executives to communicate product strategy, progress, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes
.

Build strong relationships with customer groups and customer representatives to understand needs and improve customer experience.

Collaborate with external partners and third-party organizations when required.

Leverage modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent solutions to accelerate product operations, analysis, documentation, and other productivity workflows.

Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to ambiguous and evolving initiatives

Ensure product decisions remain aligned with strategic business goals, customer needs, and technical capabilities.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
Required Qualifications

7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an Agile software product development environment.

Strong experience with Product Management, Agile Methodology, and Backlog Management

Proven experience developing and executing Product Roadmaps and Product Strategy

Strong Customer Centricity and advanced understanding of customer experience.

Strong Data Analysis skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative information for product decisions.

Strong understanding of Solution Architecture Design and technical solution development.

Experience creating and reviewing Technical Design Documentation and Technical Writing

Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale data or technology initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, stakeholders, and dependencies.

Strong Stakeholder Management skills with experience working across technical and business organizations.

Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational and organizational challenges and drive resolution.

Experience delivering data or technology solutions for frontline business units
, particularly Retail, Care, or similarly operationally intensive environments.

Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and CI/CD practices

Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-pressure, and fast-moving environments

Strong learning agility and ability to quickly understand new business, technical, and organizational concepts.

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience
, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience

Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data, or a related technical discipline

Experience working with large Retail or customer-facing organizations such as Starbucks, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, or similar companies.

Experience leading large-scale data transformation and technology initiatives

Background as a Data Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Data/Analytics Product Leader, Retail Technology Product Manager, or Data Transformation Leader
.

Experience working with frontline operations, retail stores, customer care, supply chain, or other operationally intensive environments
.

Experience driving transformation across complex enterprise organizations with multiple systems and dependencies.

Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent to improve product management and operational workflows.

Experience in a FAANG, major product company, or Top Tier-1 organization is highly preferred/mandatory for sourcing.
