Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong consultancy background to oversee electrical design and project supervision across engineering/infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings technical depth in electrical systems, proven site supervision capability, and the credentials required to operate within Qatar's regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and review across assigned projects

• Provide project supervision on-site, ensuring works comply with approved designs, specifications, and standards

• Review and approve electrical drawings, technical submittals, and shop drawings

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycle

• Ensure compliance with Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) regulations and relevant codes/standards

• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance related to electrical works

• Support technical reporting, inspections, and sign-off on electrical installations

• Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum UPDA Grade A, B, or C classification (mandatory)

• Prior experience working with a consultancy firm is required

• Proven experience in project supervision on active construction/infrastructure sites

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, Kahramaa standards, and Qatar project regulations

• Solid experience within the GCC, ideally Qatar

• Immediate availability / notice period ready to join
