Senior Electrical Engineer – MEP

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP contracting team for high-rise building construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical design, load calculations, MEP coordination, and UAE authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical designs, drawings, and load calculations for high-rise building projects.

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, applicable electrical codes, and project specifications.

• Manage electrical design submissions and obtain approvals from relevant authorities.

• Coordinate with MEP disciplines, consultants, clients, and project teams to resolve technical and design issues.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.

• Provide technical support to site teams and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Monitor design progress and ensure timely completion of submissions and approvals.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Relevant experience in MEP contracting and high-rise building projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, load calculations, and MEP coordination.

• Experience in UAE authority submissions and approval procedures.

• Proficiency in relevant electrical design software and engineering tools.

• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
