Senior Electrical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience in brownfield, retrofit, revamp, or refurbishment projects.

Plan, supervise and coordinate matters related to electrical requirements in detailed Engineering (subsea cable, switchgear, transformers etc.), construction and procurement activities across all facilities under the Department, in accord with Company’s project strategy/HSE standards in order to ensure reliability, integrity, uninterrupted operations and sustainable high productivity standards.

Ensure that engineering design, procurement, construction, and project completion is done in compliance with the project contract requirements, i.e., project schedule, cost, HSE, and company standards and procedures.

Prepare Tender document, evaluate bids, carryout technical clarifications, and arrange kick-off meetings related to the electrical engineering works.

Review and approval of electrical engineering documents, drawings etc from vendors and contractors.

Supervise all related modifications and new installations as appropriate upon approval by the Manager and concerned Departments.

Demonstrated knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, BS, NEMA, and applicable local authority requirements.

Must have an understanding of design maturity requirements across project phases, including Select, FEED, and Detailed Engineering.

Experience in brownfield engineering, including the development of safe isolation, de-energization, and lockout/tagout requirements.
