About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, client-facing Senior ERP Business Analyst & Presales Consultant based in Saudi Arabia to represent our ERP consulting and implementation company during client meetings, business discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution discussions.

This is not a documentation-only business analyst role. We need a senior professional who can independently engage with prospective customers, understand their operations, identify business challenges, perform gap analysis, recommend suitable ERP solutions, and help convert qualified opportunities into implementation projects.

The consultant will act as our local representative, working closely with our remote business development, functional consulting, solution architecture, and implementation teams.

The ideal candidate combines ERP functional expertise, business process consulting, stakeholder management, and consultative selling skills.

1. Client Representation & Stakeholder Management

  • Attend online and onsite client meetings across Saudi Arabia on behalf of our company.

  • Introduce our ERP implementation, customization, integration, automation, and support services.

  • Engage confidently with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, IT managers, and department heads.

  • Understand the client's industry, business model, current applications, challenges, and strategic objectives.

  • Build professional relationships and establish confidence in our consulting capabilities.

  • Identify decision-makers, project budgets, purchasing processes, and expected timelines.

  • Lead initial discussions independently and coordinate follow-ups with internal specialists.

  • Support client presentations, demonstrations, scope discussions, and proposal meetings.

The consultant should represent our company professionally and maintain ownership of client communication throughout the assigned presales engagement.

2. Business Discovery & Requirement Gathering

Conduct structured workshops to understand existing business processes and identify technology requirements.

Functional areas include:

  • Finance, Accounting, VAT, and Financial Reporting

  • Sales, CRM, Marketing, and Customer Service

  • Procurement, Inventory, and Warehouse Management

  • Manufacturing, Production, and Supply Chain

  • Human Resources, Payroll, and Attendance

  • Projects, Timesheets, and Service Operations

  • Reporting, Analytics, and Business Automation

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing systems, spreadsheets, manual processes, and departmental workflows.

  • Gather and prioritize business and functional requirements.

  • Identify inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, compliance gaps, and integration needs.

  • Understand data migration requirements, reporting expectations, and future expansion plans.

  • Translate business requirements into clear implementation scope for technical teams.

3. Business Process Analysis & Gap Assessment

  • Conduct AS-IS business process assessments and recommend TO-BE workflows.

  • Perform fit-gap analysis between client requirements and ERP capabilities.

  • Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.

  • Distinguish between standard ERP configuration, customization, integration, and process changes.

  • Assess implementation complexity, risks, dependencies, and data migration challenges.

  • Prepare process documentation, gap analysis reports, and solution recommendations.

  • Support scope definition, implementation planning, and prioritization.

4. ERP Platform Expertise & Solution Advisory

The consultant should have strong functional knowledge of major ERP platforms:

  • Odoo:

Accounting, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, Projects, and customization.

  • Zoho:

Zoho One, CRM, Books, Inventory, People, Creator, and Analytics.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365:

Business Central, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and related solutions.

  • SAP:

SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, and enterprise business processes.

  • Oracle:

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Financials, Procurement, and related applications.

Hands-on implementation experience in at least two major platforms is expected, with working knowledge of the remaining systems.

5. Presales Consulting & Business Conversion

This role includes a strong consultative sales responsibility. The consultant should identify relevant service opportunities and actively support business acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for ERP implementation, customization, integration, migration, automation, and ongoing support.

  • Connect business pain points with suitable services offered by our company.

  • Communicate operational benefits, efficiency improvements, and potential ROI.

  • Address client concerns about implementation cost, timelines, complexity, and business disruption.

  • Understand client budgets, decision-making authority, purchasing intent, and project timelines.

  • Recommend next steps, including demonstrations, workshops, assessments, and formal proposals.

  • Support solution presentations, scope clarification, commercial discussions, and negotiations.

  • Coordinate with our business development team to progress qualified opportunities toward closure.

6. Saudi Arabia Business & Compliance Knowledge

The candidate should understand Saudi business practices and common ERP compliance requirements, including:

  • ZATCA electronic invoicing and Phase Two integration considerations.

  • Saudi VAT, accounting, and financial reporting.

  • Multi-company and multi-branch operations.

  • Saudi HR, payroll, and workforce management.

  • Arabic and English business workflows.

  • Local enterprise procurement and stakeholder expectations.

7. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of ERP consulting, functional implementation, business analysis, or digital transformation experience.

  • Proven experience independently conducting client meetings and discovery workshops.

  • Hands-on involvement in ERP implementation projects.

  • Strong understanding of finance, procurement, sales, inventory, and enterprise operations.

  • Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, gap analysis, and implementation scope documents.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in ERP presales, solution consulting, or business development.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and technical teams.

  • Excellent English; professional Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.

  • Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and be available for onsite meetings.

ERP certifications, CBAP, PMP, or related professional qualifications are advantageous.

Compensation will depend on experience, location, availability, and engagement scope.
