About the Engagement Our public‑sector client is building a modern MOTS pension administration platform (Sagitec Neospin / Microsoft .NET). We are sourcing Senior Full Stack Developers who can lead design and development while partnering closely with QA on automation, defect triage, and release readiness.

Must-have experience:

  • 10+ years (within last 12 months) as a Software Developer delivering complex web applications using Microsoft .NET / ASP.NET (MVC and/or ASP.NET Core), C# with solid OOP, and UI with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, XML/JSON — including unit/SIT test utilities you built or owned.

  • 10+ years (within last 12 months) with Microsoft SQL Server: interpreting complex data models, advanced T-SQL (joins, grouping, windowing), stored procedures, views, and practical performance awareness.

  • 7+ years implementing automated testing in large organizations: converting manual cases, shared step libraries, tooling for reuse, evangelizing regression automation; languages such as C#, Java, Python, or Shell as part of automation.

  • 7+ years building/maintaining test harnesses, environments, test data, and cases across system, functional, performance, and regression testing.

  • 7+ years authoring test requirements, platform/test architecture notes, test plans/strategies, and specs.

  • 5+ years data validation/reporting with SQL; 7+ years defect tracking (JIRA or enterprise ALM).

  • 7+ years translating business/functional/technical requirements into testable requirements and cases; analyzing results and tuning data/cases.

  • 5+ years requirements elicitation, use cases, business rules, and functional/non-functional documentation.

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (diploma available on request).

  • Committed to hybrid onsite 2–3 days/week at West Sacramento, CA (or as required).

Strongly preferred (differentiators)

  • Pension, retirement, insurance, banking, or large MOTS/COTS financial systems experience

  • Azure DevOps pipelines, Git branching strategies, code review culture

  • Selenium / SpecFlow / Playwright + API testing experience

  • Exposure to multi-tier .NET apps with SQL Server deployment/configuration awareness

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable in daily triage and stakeholder reviews

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop .NET web components for Benefit Connect and related enterprise apps

  • Contribute Application Design / technical documentation and maintainable code

  • Build tests/utilities; support automated regression; participate in defect triage and releases

  • Partner with client's technical leadership; report weekly status and hours

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
