Senior Full Stack Engineer

Mission

Own end-to-end features across the Niks React frontend and Supabase backend. You will ship high-impact modules such as client onboarding, AI content workspaces, and media intelligence dashboards while mentoring junior engineers.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain features across React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and Supabase Edge Functions.

• Design reusable UI components with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and shadcn/ui patterns.

• Write secure RLS policies, PostgreSQL migrations, and Deno edge functions.

• Integrate OpenAI and Gemini APIs into production content pipelines.

• Lead code reviews, set frontend architecture standards, and unblock teammates.

• Profile and optimize bundle size, query performance, and render cycles.

• Architect prompt pipelines using OpenAI Responses API, GPT-5.6 family, and Gemini fallbacks.

• Build structured output parsers, JSON schema validators, and retry/fallback logic.

• Implement embedding-based retrieval, few-shot exemplar matching, and RAG grounding.

• Evaluate model output quality, latency, and cost across content types.

• Create guardrails against hallucination, bias, and off-brand output.

• Collaborate with product on new AI features and human-in-the-loop workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years shipping production web applications.

• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern state management (TanStack Query, Zustand).

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, or equivalent BaaS platforms.

• Comfortable owning features from Figma to deployment.

• Strong understanding of authentication, RLS, and multi-tenant data security.

• Deep experience with OpenAI and/or Gemini APIs, embeddings, and fine-tuning concepts.

• Strong TypeScript/Python skills and comfort with prompt engineering.

• Track record of shipping AI features with measurable quality improvements.

• Understanding of retrieval systems, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/LLM integrations and prompt engineering.

• Background in PR, media, or marketing technology.

• Contributions to open-source frontend or backend tooling.

• Background in NLP, journalism, or PR/comms workflows.

• Experience with evaluation tools such as LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or custom evals.

• Knowledge of multi-modal models and slide/PPTX generation.
