Our client is a fast-growing healthcare technology company building AI-powered software that helps medical practices automate operations, improve patient engagement and run more efficiently.

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong hands-on AI experience to join the team in New York. This is a product engineering role for someone who can build across the stack while also designing and integrating AI capabilities into real production applications.

What You’ll Do

Build and ship full-stack product features end to end.
Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Build modern frontend applications with React.
Design and implement AI-powered features and workflows.
Integrate LLMs and AI models into production applications.
Build APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to turn customer problems into working solutions.
Make technical decisions around architecture, performance, reliability and scalability.
Own features from initial design through deployment and iteration.

What We’re Looking For

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered applications — this is a must.
Production experience integrating LLMs, AI models or AI APIs into software products.
Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills.
Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
Strong frontend development experience with React.
Experience building and scaling production web applications.
Solid understanding of APIs, databases and modern application architecture.
Strong product mindset and ability to turn AI capabilities into practical customer-facing features.
Comfortable working independently, making technical decisions and taking ownership of delivery.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in a fast-paced startup or product environment.

Experience with healthcare technology, AI agents, workflow automation or other AI-intensive products is a strong plus.

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
